ABOUT BARBARA

      Most of my friends and family call me "Barb".  I am a student at the New England College of Optometry in beautiful Boston, Massachusetts.  I am currently finishing off my second year of school and by the wedding I will have completed my first set of boards and a grueling summer session.  If you ever see me you'll know me by the fact that I am a 6'0" red-headed goddess.


ABOUT TODD

    The groom, who prefers to write about himself in the third person, is one of those boring dependable types that make the best husbands.  He also is very humble.  Currently working for MetLife in Boston, he likes to tinker with computers, brew, and dote on his fiery tempered fiancè in his free time.


ABOUT US 

    We met in high school on not-so-pleasant terms.  Barb thought Todd was a perverted geek and he thought she was an unattractive weirdo. We were set up in our junior year for prom by Ryan Glenn. However, it wasn't until our Senior year that we started hanging out together and, eventually, dating.  We continued our relationship long distance, traveling over 7,500 total miles to see each other while attending colleges in different states.  We both moved out to the East Coast after graduation and to the same city a year later.  Todd proposed June 24, 2002 during a romantic dinner at his apartment, five and a half years after our first date.
